Yang Wencheng, a fourth level researcher at the Tongzhou District Landscape and Greening Bureau, stated that the focus of work will be on scientifically expanding greenery, improving quality and efficiency, and constructing a number of small and micro green spaces, pocket parks, and village parks with high standards to guide the further development of the Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal cultural tourism scenic spot. Jiangtai Township in Chaoyang District is located in the northeast of the central urban area, with a green coverage rate of 46.7%, and is a demonstration township for garden city construction. Wang Dini, Deputy Director of the Baizhifang Sub district Office, said that in accordance with General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirements, Baizhifang Sub district will conscientiously implement the special plan for garden cities, quickly formulate implementation plans and a three-year action plan for greening and coloring, build more pocket parks, small and micro green spaces, rooftop gardens, etc., and rely on technological means to create more spring park scenes.

Chu Yuhong, Deputy Director of the Garden and Greening Bureau of Dongcheng District, introduced that Dongcheng has comprehensively launched the construction of a garden city under the overall planning of Beijing, promoting the implementation and effectiveness of a number of greening and beautification projects such as garden blocks, all age friendly parks, tree lined road networks, urban galleries, and bridge greening. Yu Bin, Deputy Director of the Landscape and Greening Bureau of Mentougou District, stated that the 9th International Rose Conference will be held as an opportunity to create a garden city with roses as the theme and continue to promote high-quality development of regional landscape and greening.
