With the continuous expansion of the company's product line, the existing 3-axis flywheel bolt tightening machine at the multi cylinder engine factory site can no longer meet the needs of tightening flywheel bolts for new diesel engines. Faced with this challenge, the multi cylinder engine factory established a technical renovation project team last year and acted quickly to solve production bottlenecks and improve production efficiency through technological innovation and equipment renovation. At present, the problem of tightening the flywheel bolts of the 4G36 new diesel engine and some other tractor models has been successfully solved.
The working scenario of the modified flywheel bolt tightening machine
The original 3-axis flywheel bolt tightening machine of the multi cylinder engine factory was designed for the 6-bolt flywheel model, while the new diesel engine uses 7 bolts to tighten the flywheel. Previously, the traditional manual use of air guns for tightening was not only time-consuming and laborious, but also had poor tightening effect, making it difficult to meet production needs. In response to this issue, the technical renovation project team of the multi cylinder engine factory proposed an innovative solution: using four tightening shafts to tighten the flywheel bolts in two steps, first tightening the four bolts, and then tightening the remaining three bolts. This solution not only solves the problem of seven bolts having small clearances that cannot be tightened with a seven axis tightening machine, but also ensures the accuracy and consistency of the tightening torque.
During the project implementation, the technical renovation project team of the multi cylinder engine factory is responsible for tightening the main scheme design, drawing, outsourcing production, installation and commissioning work. At the same time, the equipment supplier also provided technical support to transform a tightening shaft into a bias shaft and cooperate with on-site assembly and debugging. Both parties worked closely together to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
The modified flywheel bolt tightening machine is easy to operate and convenient, achieving secondary tightening function, greatly improving tightening efficiency and quality. At the same time, the tightening machine also has a data recording function, providing strong support for the traceability and management of the production process. The original plan for the project was to invest 200000 yuan, but the actual total cost was only 90000 yuan, thanks to the careful planning and efficient execution of the project team. In this technical renovation project, the multi cylinder machine factory's maintenance team completed a large amount of independent production, installation, and commissioning work, providing strong support for effective budget control.
After more than 9 months of hard work by the technical renovation project team, the flywheel bolt tightening machine successfully passed the equipment acceptance and was put into production use. This innovative transformation not only solves practical problems in production, but also improves on-site production efficiency and product quality, injecting new impetus into the company's sustainable development. At the same time, in order to fully protect the unique technology and innovative achievements of this innovative technological transformation project, the multi cylinder engine factory actively applied for a utility model patent for the project.
