In order to actively and steadily promote carbon peak and carbon neutrality, cultivate emerging and future industries, accelerate the formation of new quality productivity, enhance new driving forces for green development, and assist in planning the construction of a new energy system for internal combustion engines, we actively carry out technological innovation around tasks such as product cost-effectiveness, industrial chain, and new generation low-carbon and zero carbon fuel substitution, further enhancing our voice in the global internal combustion engine industry.

The power equipment industry, represented by internal combustion engines, continues to climb through exploration, reform, innovation, and breakthroughs, and continues to move towards strength. In recognition of advanced technology and to inspire innovation morale in enterprises, on October 11, 2024, the 2024 "Innovative Power Star" award ceremony with the theme of comprehensively developing new quality productivity and driving green development was held during the China International Import Expo. The atmosphere at the event was lively and became the focus of attention at the exhibition.

Xing Min, Executive Vice President of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, Shuai Shijin, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Tsinghua University, Director of the Tsinghua Shell Clean Transportation Energy Joint Research Center, and Wu Xuling, Chairman of ISO TC70, attended the award ceremony, which was presided over by Shen Bin, Deputy Secretary General of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association.

At a time when the world is actively developing a zero carbon economy and accelerating the transformation of the entire industry towards diversification, zero carbonization, electrification, and intelligence, in order to deeply implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements, instructions, and requirements on scientific and technological innovation, as well as the deployment of scientific and technological innovation in the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the organizing committee of the 2024 China International Automobile Fair, under the guidance and assistance of the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, has carefully prepared the "Low Carbon Power Innovation Achievement Exhibition Area" and the 2024 "Innovation Power Star" award ceremony, which have received positive responses from enterprises.

The award selection of this activity is aimed at enterprises in the whole industrial chain of power equipment manufacturing, and is based on progressiveness technology, maturity, product commercialization, industry contribution and other aspects; Disruptive technical products aiming at key and "choking" problems, including evaluation of innovation, progressiveness, reliability, etc. And evaluate the incubation maturity, overall breakthrough, and application potential of strategic emerging energy power systems such as hydrogen energy, ammonia, and carbon neutral fuels. After enterprise application/recommendation, data collection/review, online voting, and multiple rounds of screening, a jury composed of six experts reviewed and scored the shortlisted results, and conducted on-site identification. Finally, 12 products from 11 units successfully broke through with the innovative speed of high-frequency iteration and the obvious market reputation.

ISO TC70 Chairman Wu Xuling awarded the company with the "Outstanding Innovation Power Star" award for 2024.

Shuai Shijin, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Tsinghua University, and director of the Tsinghua Shell Clean Transportation Energy Joint Research Center, was awarded the "Outstanding Innovation Power Star" for the company in 2024.
