The all-new NG4.0 product is showcased with a heavyweight image

At the exhibition, Weichai showcased two gas engines, WP15NG and WP13NG.


The WP15NG engine adopts fast combustion technology, which increases the combustion speed by 30%, thereby achieving higher horsepower and torque output. Meanwhile, its TOP-DOWN cooling design reduces cylinder head temperature and improves engine reliability.

In addition, the natural gas specific mixing and distribution technology improves the mixing uniformity by 6% and the consistency of each cylinder by 4%, further enhancing the performance of the engine. The stronger body design and excellent detonation detection and control strategy ensure the long life and stable operation of the WP15NG engine, with the B10 engine having a lifespan of up to 1.8 million kilometers.


The WP13NG engine also adopts a series of advanced technologies such as rapid combustion technology, combustion adaptive control technology, transient response control technology, and pulse boosting system. The application of these technologies enables the engine to operate at higher temperatures and lower viscosity with the support of pulse boosting and EGR systems, thereby achieving lower gas consumption.

At the same time, the design of high reliability cylinder head, exhaust pipe, turbocharger, and high-intensity moving parts system also ensures the stable operation of WP13NG engine under harsh working conditions.

Another 110kW fuel cell engine, with its advantages of topology lightweight design, multi scenario verification, and intelligent thermal management control technology, has become an ideal choice for medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicle scenarios such as environmental sanitation, traction, and highway buses. Its mass power density is as high as 605W/kg, and its lifespan can reach 30000 hours, fully demonstrating Weichai's leading layout and reserves in the field of new energy.
