Power changes the world! At the recently held 2024 China International Internal Combustion Engine and Power Equipment Expo, a comprehensive display of internal combustion engine engines and components, powertrains, hydrogen internal combustion engines, ammonia fuel internal combustion engines, alternative fuel internal combustion engines, remanufacturing technologies and products was presented, providing a broad cooperation and exchange platform for the internal combustion engine industry and attracting many mainstream engine companies to participate.

At this exhibition, Quanchai Power showcased its five major series, six powertrains, a DHT hybrid gearbox and motor integration, as well as hydrogen fuel cell membrane electrode series products, fully demonstrating its complete product matrix and cutting-edge scientific research and innovation achievements.

Question 1: The theme of this year's CIIE is "Power Changes the World", showcasing excellent products and technological achievements across the entire power industry chain. What innovative and cutting-edge works did Quanchai Power bring at this exhibition?

Answer: Quanchai brought 6 products to this exhibition, and I will give you a brief introduction one by one.

1. Quanchai V13 engine: an engine product tailored for micro excavators and high-speed rice transplanters. It has greater power and torque, as well as better economy. This product is currently in mass production and is a good match for small excavators and high-speed rice transplanters in terms of power.

2. Quanchai S38 diesel engine: Quanchai has been deeply involved in the market of tracked harvesters for many years. Based on market and user requirements for power, the entire product has been upgraded to 3.8-liter, with two valves upgraded to four valves, giving it higher reliability, economy, and service life. It is a very good supporting power product for tracked harvesters.

3. Quanchai S65 diesel engine: It is a supporting power for crawler engines, corn harvesters, and large tractors. Its displacement reaches 6.5 liters, power reaches 92 kilowatts, and torque reaches 1200 Newton meters. It has the characteristics of low speed, high torque, good economy, and low fuel consumption.

4. Quanchai G29 (LPG) engine: It is a forklift power designed for the foreign gas engine market. It is a single fuel LPG engine with a displacement of 2.9 liters, a power of 47 kilowatts, and a maximum torque of 200 Newton meters. Compared to imported engines of the same level, it has stronger power and better economy, making it the star power in the forklift industry.

5. Quanchai Q23 diesel engine: Quanchai Q series engine is the only engine in the industry with two valves that can meet the national VI emission standards. The Q3 displacement is 2.3 liters and the cylinder diameter is 87. The Quanchai Q series has a series of Q23 and Q25 engines, which are excellent matching power for light trucks, pickup trucks, and micro trucks.

6. Quanchai Zhiwei Power H25 engine: It is a four valve, national VI vehicle engine. After 5000 hours of rigorous durability testing and rigorous three high testing. At a displacement of 2.5 liters, the maximum torque can reach 500 Newton meters. Its fuel system, turbocharger and other accessories are all made of internationally renowned brands, which have good economy, reliability, and durability.

Question 2: With the comprehensive implementation of the National VI standard for automobiles and the National IV standard for non road vehicles, the market's demand for engines is shifting towards low-carbon, green, intelligent, digital and other directions, which puts forward higher requirements for the key core technologies of engines. How do you view the current technological development trends in the power market? What is the technology research and development strategy and product layout of Quanchai Power?

Answer: Let me share my personal opinion. There are several directions for the current development of engine technology:

The first is thermal efficiency. At present, there is still a lot of room for improvement in engine thermal efficiency, which is also one of the powerful ways to save energy and reduce emissions in power equipment.

The second is electrification and intelligence. The development of power should embrace electrification and intelligence, which will help improve the overall performance of the engine and be very beneficial for energy conservation, emission reduction, noise reduction, and other aspects.

The third is the diversification of fuels. At the booth of Quanchai at the 2024 China International Import Expo, we can see LPG and CNG engines, as well as various gas engine products such as ammonia. Fuel diversification is an effective means of reducing emissions.

The fourth is diversified driving force. By adopting various joint methods such as hybrid and extended range, fuel efficiency can be further improved and emission reduction targets can be achieved.

Finally, digitalization. By establishing a data platform and collecting engine operation data, it is possible to minimize overall emissions and improve engine performance from the design end to the greatest extent possible.

At present, Quanchai Power is making comprehensive efforts in multiple directions and fields such as fuel diversification, power generation, and new energy. At today's exhibition, a variety of products such as all diesel LPG, CNG, and range extender engines can also be seen on display.
