On November 15, 2024, the "2024 Chain Saw Group Standard Performance Testing and Operation Skills Exchange Competition" hosted by the China Forestry Machinery Association and organized by the Outdoor Forest Machinery Standardization Committee of the China Forestry Machinery Association was successfully held at Wuhu Jingfeng Landscape Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. in Wanluo District, Wuhu, Anhui Province.

The exchange competition is divided into three parts: the performance test of saw chain guide plate, the performance test of chain saw machine, and the operation skills test of chain saw. Among them, there were exciting activities such as the 32 inch saw chain guide plate sawing demonstration produced by Wuhu Jingfeng Garden Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., the 24 inch lithium battery chain saw demonstration developed by Greebo (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., the intelligent lithium battery chain saw demonstration developed by Nanjing Quanfeng Technology Co., Ltd., and the performance testing of advanced saw chain guides from abroad.

Zhejiang Dingcheng Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Wuyi Haoyu Bailian Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Fangcheng Tool Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Kangxin Tool Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Qirui Tool Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Langsaw Chain Co., Ltd., Wuhu Jingfeng Landscape Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. and other major domestic saw chain guide plate production enterprises carried independently developed saw chain guide plates, divided into four groups according to the specifications of 8 inches, 12 inches, 16 inches, and 20 inches, and participated in the performance testing and exchange of saw chain guide plates.

Representatives from Zhejiang Zhongzhong Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhongma Garden Machinery Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Huarui Tools Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Dongcheng Electromechanical Tools Co., Ltd., Greebo (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Yusen Bailian Tools Co., Ltd., Yongkang Weili Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Yate Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., Shandong Huasheng Agricultural Pharmaceutical Machinery Co., Ltd., Nanjing Quanfeng Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhu Jingfeng Garden Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. and other units participated in the chain saw operation skills exchange competition. On site, each group of two companies will compete on stage. Participants are required to complete the sawing techniques for equal thickness wood pieces, regular hexahedrons, and mortise and tenon structures within the specified time.

Through communication testing and overall performance evaluation, the compliance of group standard performance indicators was verified, and the performance of different specifications of chain saws and saw chain guides was preliminarily understood, as well as the comparison of domestic and foreign technologies.

On November 14th, the association also organized a special seminar on the development of advanced technology for saw chain guide plates in the 2024 chain saw adaptation sawing system. Representatives from industry associations, forestry universities, research institutes, saw chain guide plate production enterprises, chain saw distribution enterprises, and internationally renowned logging and transportation machinery enterprise Pangsai (China) Company participated in the seminar. The head of the association's secretariat introduced the demand for mechanized forest care and wood harvesting operations in China. Yang Feng, a senior expert in the garden machinery industry, introduced the current status and trends of lithium-ion garden machinery development. Fan Dongwen, Secretary General of the association's outdoor forest machinery standard committee, exchanged and introduced the latest policies on group standardization. The attendees discussed topics such as expert reports and the latest technology research and development of saw chain guide plate systems. The special seminar was chaired by Xu Kesheng, Deputy Secretary General of the Association.
