However, the complex and ever-changing global economic situation, coupled with increasing uncertainties in the trade environment, have had an impact on China's imports and exports.
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, China's total import and export value for the first 11 months of 2024 was 559.6743 billion US dollars, an increase of 3.6%. Among them, exports amounted to 32407.08 billion US dollars, an increase of 5.4%; Imports amounted to 2356.034 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.2%; The trade surplus is 884.674 billion US dollars.
Specifically in the internal combustion engine industry, the import and export performance showed a slight increase, while the overall performance remained stable.
According to data compiled by the General Administration of Customs, the total import and export volume of the internal combustion engine industry from January to November 2024 was 30.348 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 7.22%. Among them, imports were 8.344 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 5.69%, and exports were 22.004 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 7.81%.
In terms of import value, other types of internal combustion engines decreased year-on-year, while other types showed growth, with a significant decrease in other types of internal combustion engines. Specifically, from January to November 2024, diesel engine imports amounted to 1.4 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 18.50%; Gasoline engine imports amounted to 459 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 4.40%; The import of other types of complete machines reached 1.964 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of -15.66%; The import of internal combustion engine components reached 3.787 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 11.05%; The import of generator sets reached 734 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 37.13%.
In terms of export value, except for the year-on-year decrease in the use of generator sets, all other sub types have increased year-on-year. Specifically, from January to November 2024, diesel engine exports amounted to 1.22 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 6.02%; Gasoline engine exports amounted to 1.915 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 38.03%; The export of other types of complete machines reached 2.369 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 8.18%; The export of internal combustion engine components reached 11.667 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 7.99%; The export of generator sets reached 4.833 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of -0.93%.
