It is reported that Kuma Technology was founded in 2016 and is a leading global intelligent courtyard robot enterprise. Through independent research and integration of advanced robot technology, it provides revolutionary products such as intelligent lawn mowing robots and swimming pool cleaning robots for overseas courtyards.

KuMa Technology is headquartered in Shenzhen and has branches in Chengdu, Germany, and North America, with a team size of over 500 people. The founding team and R&D team come from well-known domestic and foreign enterprises and research institutions. The company has currently obtained financing from top tier institutions such as Sequoia Capital and Wuyuan Capital.

At present, the main participants in global intelligent lawn mowing robots are Husqvarna and Gardena from Sweden and WORX from China. According to the shipment volume, the three companies account for about 90% of the global lawn mowing robot market share, with Husqvarna Group accounting for 750000 units and WORX Group accounting for 300000 units.
