Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the preliminary list of the first batch of key cultivation pilot platforms. Huazhong CNC's national production chip and operating system high-end CNC system pilot platform has been selected.

The preliminary list of the first batch of key cultivation pilot platforms announced this time includes 242 pilot platforms from all over the country, covering six urgent areas for high-quality development of the manufacturing industry: raw material industry, consumer goods industry, equipment manufacturing, information technology, emerging and future industries, and common needs.

The full name of pilot testing is intermediate testing, which is a key link in promoting scientific and technological achievements from the "laboratory" to the "application field". Compared to technology achievements that have not undergone pilot testing, those that have undergone pilot testing can significantly increase the success rate of industrialization.

Huazhong CNC is a research and industrialization base for domestic mid to high end CNC systems. In 2009, the country launched the major science and technology project "High end CNC Machine Tools and Basic Manufacturing Equipment" to support domestic CNC system and machine tool enterprises in improving their technological level and breaking through the bottleneck of high-end CNC technology. With the support of relevant policies and funds, Huazhong CNC has successively built pilot workshops and testing workshops, mainly conducting product function, performance, reliability testing and evaluation, simulating working conditions such as high and low temperature, humidity, and long-term operation testing, and conducting on machine testing of CNC systems with different models of machine tools.

In recent years, Huazhong CNC has continued to strengthen cooperation with universities, institutions, and upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, actively creating pilot testing platforms, promoting the large-scale application of scientific and technological achievements from 1 to 100, and achieving independent and controllable domestic high-end CNC systems. The defect rate of the company's board production process has decreased from 1 ‰ to 0.45 ‰, the detection accuracy has increased from around 1% to 2 ‰, and the first-time pass rate of servo motor electrical parameters and mechanical accuracy has increased by 5000 PPM (one PPM is equal to one millionth of the non-conforming product rate).

Next, the company will focus on building a higher-level CNC system testing and verification base with the support of national policies. At the same time, open the pilot base to other enterprises in the industry, create a pilot public service platform, further promote the establishment of industry related standard systems and testing method systems, promote the maturity of domestic high-end CNC products, and provide strong support for the independent and controllable development of China's core manufacturing equipment.
