Industry News | Nursery Base Technology Seedling Drones Become 'Airborne Guardians'

Recently, a drone transformed into an "airborne guardian" at the Lutang Nursery Base in Hedong Nursery, Liuzhou City. It is lightly shuttling through the air, hovering precisely above the canopy of the seedlings, spraying fine mist like a drizzling rain, evenly spraying onto each leaf, providing precise and efficient prevention and control of pest infested seedlings.

Summer is the peak period for the growth of garden seedlings, and high temperature and high humidity environments can easily lead to pests and diseases. In the past, the nursery base mainly relied on manual backpack spray for prevention and control, and there were problems such as low operation efficiency, uneven coverage of liquid medicine, difficulty in reaching the canopy of tall seedlings, rapid volatilization of drugs, and high labor costs. Nowadays, with the introduction of drone crop protection technology, this problem has been easily solved.

Drones, with their advantages of flexible flight, uniform spraying, efficient operation, and no terrain restrictions, can achieve all-weather and precise pesticide application. The daily control area can reach more than 200 acres, greatly reducing production costs and effectively solving the pain points and difficulties of traditional plant protection methods. This allows pests hidden in concealed places to have nowhere to hide, and also builds a "protective net" for the healthy growth of summer garden seedlings.
