Industry News | Fuyou's first "hydrogen powered zero carbon new trunk line" is put into operation in Shandong

On August 6th, more than ten hydrogen powered heavy-duty trucks carrying over 300 tons departed from the logistics park located in Dezhou, Shandong and headed to Chengyang District, Qingdao. This is the first transportation task of the hydrogen powered heavy-duty truck fleet, and also marks the official operation of Fuyou Truck's first "hydrogen powered zero carbon new trunk line".

This "Hydrogen Powered Zero Carbon Shinkansen" running between Texas and Qingdao is a fully hydrogen powered freight dedicated line opened by Fuyou Trucks, which uses all hydrogen fuel vehicles to achieve zero emissions for dedicated freight transportation. The dedicated line covers a total distance of about 450 kilometers, passing through large freight distribution centers such as Dezhou Modern Logistics Park, Jinan Gaishi International Logistics Park, Weifang Comprehensive Bonded Zone Logistics Park, and Qingdao Qianwan International Logistics Park.

The first batch of hydrogen powered heavy-duty trucks put into operation were jointly built by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group and Toyota, using a 300KW level hydrogen fuel cell power system with features such as zero carbon emissions and long range. After various preparation stages such as driver professional training, a fleet of 18 hydrogen powered heavy-duty trucks began their first transportation mission.

In the future, with the successive introduction of supporting policies for hydrogen powered heavy-duty trucks and the improvement of hydrogen refueling infrastructure, Fuyou Trucks will open more zero carbon freight dedicated lines. At the same time, Fuyou Trucks will work together with new energy host factories and hydrogen refueling station operators to focus on upgrading clean energy transportation capacity, establish cooperation mechanisms around key scenarios such as hydrogen energy heavy-duty truck research and development innovation, and digital ecological platform construction, promote the deep integration of the hydrogen energy industry and freight logistics, and jointly establish a green freight ecosystem.
