On October 11, 2025, the third meeting of the leadership group for the replacement of the Chinese Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as "China Internal Combustion Engine Association") was held in Yulin, Guangxi. The successful convening of this meeting has laid a solid foundation for the upcoming 8th National Congress of the China Association for the Promotion of International Trade and the election of new members. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Xing Min, Executive Vice President of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy.

Xing Min fully affirmed Yuchai's outstanding achievements in industrial layout, technological innovation, and industry collaboration. Xing Min stated that the Chinese internal combustion engine industry is highly cohesive and competitive, with steady growth for several consecutive years. In the future, the China Internal Combustion Association will continue to play a role as a bridge and link, leading the industry to self regulate, innovate and break through, oppose internal competition, create a good industry ecological environment, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the internal combustion engine industry.

At the meeting, Li Hanyang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yuchai Group, delivered a welcome speech. He stated that China has a complete internal combustion engine industry chain, and Yuchai will always adhere to the core track of internal combustion engines, deeply cultivate it, closely follow national strategies, strengthen technological innovation, work together with industry associations and peer enterprises to defend the industry's position, and jointly promote the development of the internal combustion engine industry towards high-end, high-efficiency, clean, and intelligent directions.

Jia Bin, Secretary General of the China ASEAN, delivered a keynote speech on the conference theme. The meeting reviewed the relevant matters of the 8th National Congress of Members of the China Association for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong.

Comrade Ma Changhai, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman and General Manager of Weichai Holdings Group Co., Ltd., and candidate for the President of the 8th Council of China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, delivered a speech. Comrade Ma Changhai first thanked the leaders of the leadership group for their trust and expressed confidence in the subsequent work of the industry. At the same time, he also expressed important opinions on self-discipline and promoting the healthy development of the internal combustion engine industry.

During the conference, the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association signed a party building business co construction agreement with Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. In the future, China National Association for Market Regulation and Yuchai Corporation will closely cooperate to promote business development through party building, seek development through innovative measures, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the internal combustion engine and power equipment industry.

During the meeting, the leading group of the China Association for Internal Affairs for the change of office visited Yuchai's national excellent intelligent factory, National Engineering Research Center, etc., to experience Yuchai's intelligent manufacturing and technological innovation strength on the spot.
