As a leader in the internal combustion engine industry, Weichai's high thermal efficiency commercial vehicle golden powertrain ranks at booth C. For internal combustion engine manufacturers, how to match the engine with the vehicle's transmission system has been a research and development topic for internal combustion engines for a hundred years. Weichai showcased the golden powertrain constructed by the 53.09% high thermal efficiency engine, transmission, and axle, demonstrating Weichai's strong technological innovation capabilities.

Weichai's exhibition this time focuses on a full range and all fields, including light diesel power 2H, popular 16NG-4.0 gas power, WP15 direct injection hydrogen internal combustion engine, WFE300 fuel cell engine, WP17T methanol range extender assembly, as well as high-power tractor CVT powertrain, the world's first 5-megawatt high-speed diesel generator set 20M61 diesel generator set and SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell) power generation system, covering road and non road, agricultural machinery, and generator set fields, highlighting Weichai's complete product solutions in all series and fields.

There are two major highlights in the Weichai market this year:One is the gas engine, and the other is the diesel generator set. In the first three quarters, Weichai sold about 71000 natural gas heavy-duty truck engines. Weichai Power, with its deep technical accumulation, performance advantages, and customer base, has significantly outperformed the industry growth. The development of AI has driven a global data center construction boom, resulting in a rapid increase in demand for diesel generator sets and a significant growth in Weichai's M-series large bore engine business. Sales in the first three quarters of this year have exceeded 7700 units.

Yuchai machine

Yuchai Machinery brings power solutions covering multiple fuels such as diesel, hybrid, hydrogen, methanol, etc., covering road, non road, and agricultural machinery fields. Among them, Yuchai has a deep technical accumulation in hybrid technology and has expanded hybrid technology to non road and agricultural machinery fields, achieving remarkable results. The new generation IE-POWER hybrid powertrain is a representative, attracting many viewers to stop and watch.

This hybrid assembly, suitable for heavy-duty tractors, features a hybrid walking system with highly integrated technology design. It adopts a high-speed oil cooled motor and a hybrid second-generation dedicated engine, with highly coupled electromechanical performance and fuel efficiency.

Yuchai also brings the classic YCK16 diesel engine, which is widely used in mining vehicles, excavators, air compressors and other fields. It has the advantages of strong power, safety and reliability, economic fuel efficiency, and good adaptability, and is the best choice for non road fields.

In addition, there are YCK05H hydrogen fuel engines, YCK11 diesel engines, YCMV20M methanol engines, YC20VTD power generation engines, YCU170/YCU200 spark ignition heavy oil engines, and flexible fuel engine platforms. These products are suitable for multiple fields, including roads, non roads, power generation equipment, mining machinery, ships, and intelligent machines.

It is worth mentioning the flexible fuel engine platform, which fully aligns with the direction of diversified fuel development in internal combustion engines. It can be compatible with different fuels such as diesel, natural gas, methanol, hydrogen, ammonia, etc., and can operate in dual fuel modes such as ammonia hydrogen, ammonia diesel, and methanol diesel.

Liberate Power

At the Jiefang Power booth, occupying the C-position is the world's first intelligent power domain GD300, which is a diesel power solution launched by FAW Jiefang for the high-end logistics market. With "intelligent, collaborative, adaptive, and digital twin" as the core technology, it integrates hardware and intelligent software systems such as engines, transmissions, and drive axles to achieve high efficiency, energy saving, and full scene adaptation. The power domain products not only reflect FAW Jiefang's complete industrial layout in the field of power transmission, but also embody its technological advantages and collaborative competitiveness in intelligence and efficiency.

In terms of conventional power, Jiefang Power showcased three flagship products, namely two Aowei gas powered 6SM6 and 6SM7, and one Jinwei 2.4-liter diesel engine.

In terms of new energy, medium and heavy-duty electric drive bridges have the ability to adapt to multiple scenarios and are widely used in environmental sanitation, logistics, heavy-duty 6 × 4 tractors, 10.5-meter buses and other products.

In the non road field, two extended range hybrid products have attracted attention. One is the mining self dumping extended range hybrid gas engine CA6SX1, which has a large displacement of 16 liters and a 350kW integrated extended range motor, providing stronger power and higher efficiency; The other one is the mining self dumping extended range hybrid diesel engine CA6DX3, also with a 16 liter displacement, which has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, and safety. Due to the frequent occurrence of heavy load downhill situations in mining self dumping, coupled with the characteristics of frequent changes in workload and high idle ratio, it is very suitable for hybrid solutions. In addition, there are problems of energy replenishment and inconvenient charging on non road roads. The mining extended range hybrid route is not only fuel-efficient and energy-saving, but also can solve users' anxiety about energy replenishment. The future market prospects are optimistic.

Quanchai

Quanchai brings products covering multiple platforms including Q, H, F, V, and S. Among them, Q and H platforms are Quanchai's core product lines, including Q25A, Q30A, and H33 diesel engines, mainly used for small trucks, light trucks, medium trucks, and special vehicles. In addition, there is an extended range engine for Q platform, mainly for light trucks, with a displacement of 2.3L and a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor.

The F28T, as the main gas engine model promoted by Quanchai Strategy, also participated in the exhibition this time. It is mainly used in the field of light trucks and has the characteristics of high power and low gas consumption.

This year, Weilan Power Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd., jointly established by Quanchai Power, Chery, and the Chuzhou Municipal Government, was unveiled. At this internal combustion engine exhibition, Quanchai showcased the Weilan E4D25/D4D25 products, which are diesel engines designed for the pickup truck/SUV/VAN market. They have the characteristics of lightweight and high efficiency, and meet the emission requirements of China VI B.

In terms of electric drive, Quanchai is also actively laying out. T35-01 electric drive is mainly used to support forklifts. In the field of agricultural equipment, Quanchai V13 is applied to high-speed rice transplanters and micro excavators, as well as classic products V43 and S75, which are suitable for agricultural equipment such as harvesters and tractors.

Tianhe Machinery, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has brought pure electric heavy-duty truck gearbox housings and pure electric heavy-duty truck oil cooled motor housings.

Jiangling

Jiangling Motors has introduced its latest high-end diesel engine brand, Blue Flame Power, this year, as well as a super hybrid powertrain. Among them, Blue Flame, as a 2.5L high-efficiency power, has three core technologies: extremely clean combustion (thermal efficiency 45.23%), intelligent control (supporting OTA upgrades), and shield level durability. It can provide light commercial vehicle users with better energy efficiency, reliability, and power experience, mainly used in Jiangling's light truck and pickup products.
